Revising and extending the result by \textit{H. Narnhofer} [J. Math. Phys. 33, No. 4, 1502-1510 (1992; Zbl 0755.58035)], the paper provides entropic \(K\)-systems (\(\pi_\tau(C^*(G,\omega))'',\tau,\alpha_T\)) induced by a suitable aperiodic automorphism \(T\) of a discrete abelian group \(G\) in the GNS-representation \(\pi_\tau\) of the twisted group \(C^*\)-algebra \(C^*(G,\omega)\) w.r.t. the canonical trace \(\tau\). The proof involves the strictly local approximation technique of \textit{D. Voiculescu} [see Lemmas 5.1, 6.1 in Commun. Math. Phys. 170, No. 2, 249-281 (1995; Zbl 0824.46079)].
