Let \(X\) be a smooth projective variety over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. Recall that \(X\) is of general type if for some integer \(m>0\) the sections of \(mK_X\) define a birational map. If \(a:X\to A\) is the Albanese morphism, then \(X\) has maximal Albanese dimension if and only if \(\dim (a(X))=\dim X\). In this paper the author shows that if \(X\) is of general type and maximal Albanese dimension then \(|4K_X|\) induces a birational map.
