In this paper the authors prove the following Theorem: If Dehn surgery on a Montesinos knot \(K\) yields a Seifert manifold containing an incompressible torus, then \(K\) is the trefoil knot, and the surgery slope is \(0\). Outline of the proof: If the surgery manifold is a toroidal Seifert manifold, then by earlier results of others, the length of \(K\) must be less than 4. If the length is less than 3, then \(K\) is a 2-bridge knot, whence is the trefoil knot with surgery slope \(r=0\). Thus one only needs to consider the case of length 3. In this case, if \(K\) is non-hyperbolic, then \(K\) is the pretzel knot \(P(-2,3,3)\) or \(P(-2,3,5)\), which are torus knots of type \((3,4)\) or \((3,5)\) respectively, and thus \((K,r)\) is not a toroidal Seifert manifold. If \(K\) is hyperbolic, then it is shown that \(K\) must be either a special class of pretzel knots or exactly 2 non-pretzel Montesinos knots. In either case \((K,r)\) is shown to be not Seifert fibered.
