Stochastic simulation of Markov-modulated finite-source queueing systems
From MaRDI portal
The authors consider a system with \(n\) parallel running machines with heterogeneous operating and repair times in random environments attended by one server. The system is down if more than \(m\) machines have broken down at a certain point of time. The authors present an efficient simulation procedure to study the performance measures of the system.
