Suction flow along a circular surface
From MaRDI portal
The authors consider a steady flow of a viscous incompressible fluid along the surface of a circular ditch with suction. The flow is governed by the Navier-Stokes equations and is supposed to be independent of the coordinate parallel to the length of the ditch. The main results are explicit formulae for the suction velocity and the skin friction of the flow.
