Tensor constructions on \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules

The main goal of this paper is the study of the equal characteristic analog of \(p\)-divisible groups. Namely, the author proves the existence of tensor constructions of \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules. Tensor products, symmetric and exterior powers of \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules are defined. The main result establishes the existence of tensor products, symmetric and exterior powers of \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules. It is also established formulas for the heights and for the dimensions of the tensor products, symmetric powers and exterior powers. Finally, isomorphisms for the natural base change of schemes are given. The core of the paper is to prove that the equivalence between \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules and Drinfeld displays preserves multilinear morphisms. It is also explained that in the equal characteristic case we have a much more general result because there are no slope constraints. Furthermore, the main result provides natural objects that explain why tensor constructions of the Galois representations of \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules are the Galois representations of \(z\)-divisible local Anderson modules. Much of this paper relies on many definitions and results of the author's (currently unavailable) unpublished paper {\em Drinfeld displays} on \(z\)-divisible local modules, Drinfeld displays and related objects.
