The work aims to underline the importance of global and topological properties of the manifold in which a charged quantum particle propagates and provides a unified treatment of the quantum properties of the supersymmetric charged particles with appropriate symmetries. A correspondence is established between the anomalies in the rigid symmetries of a charged particle and the topological obstacles to lifting a group action to the appropriate principal bundle. Both local and global type anomalies are shown to exist and several examples are given.
