The authors analyse the so-called 3-dimensional incompressible flow with stagnation points, modelled by the following 2-parameter family of ODE: \(x'=y\), \(y'=1/4-(x-1)^ 2-z^ 2\), \(z'=B_ 0(x-x_ N)\). Local and global bifurcations are extensively studied as well as the appearance of invariant tori (KAM theory) and horseshoe phenomenon (chaotic behavior).
