Finsler gauge transformations and general relativity (Q1200618): Difference between revisions

The author gives an application of the theory of Finsler gauge transformations to general relativity. These transformations produce new metrics which correspond to the introduction of physical fields. The geodesic equation in the transformed space is equivalent to the equation of motion in the original space where the field is included by a force term. He also gives two examples in order to illustrate the theory.
