The author has examined the three-dimensional stress intensity factors for a semi-infinite plane crack. The results reported are contained in the previous works. However, the results of \textit{M. K. Kuo} [Int. J. Eng. Sci. 30, No. 2, 199-211 (1992; Zbl 0756.73070)] offer a simple alternative formulation. The crucial steps in the analysis are the Fourier transform together with the direct application of the Wiener-Hopf technique.
