Topological invariants of affine hypersurfaces: Connectivity, ends, and signature (Q1261116): Difference between revisions

Let \(P: \mathbb{C}^{n+1}\to \mathbb{C}\) be a polynomial function, and \(V_ t = P^{-1}(t)\) a fiber over \(t\in \mathbb{C}\). This interesting paper gives some new results on the topology of \(V_ t\). For instance, there are considered, higher connectivity, monodromy at infinity, \(\chi_ y\)- characteristic, and signature of \(V_ t\).
