The classical motion of a charged particle in a magnetic field is investigated. Here the magnetic field appears as a ``bump'': a localised convex structure with a boundary that has a curvature smaller than the absolute value of the constant magnetic field inside the bump. There is a different behaviour for weak, strong and very strong fields, where each case is defined in the beginning of the paper. The authors provide and prove three lemmas about the behaviour of the trajectory for a charged particle moving through this magnetic bump. Finally, they give and prove a theorem on bounded trajectories.
