The authors introduce a non-symmetric notion of centralization between a relation and an equivalence relation. For exact pointed protomodular categories, the existence of such non-symmetric centralizers is equivalent to action accessibility (in the sense of \textit{D. Bourn} and \textit{G. Janelidze} [Cah. Topol. Géom. Différ. Catég. 50, No. 3, 211--232 (2009; Zbl 1187.18011)]).
