The present paper continues the work of the second author on absolute curvature measures [Math. Nachr. 140, 83-90 (1989; Zbl 0676.53075)] for sets of positive reach in Euclidean spaces. The results: The independence of the absolute curvature measures w.r.t. enlarging the codimension; their reproductive property w.r.t. intersections with moved subspaces (Crofton type formula), resp. projections onto moved subspaces. In the appendix, the intersection formula is applied to motion invariant random sets. In case of smooth compact hypersurfaces the absolute curvature measures here agree with those introduced by \textit{L. A. Santaló} [Symp. Math. 14, 363-390 (1974; Zbl 0319.53040)].
