The goal of the author is to study nonexistence theorems for solutions of some classes of degenerate and singular elliptic and parabolic inequalities on \(\mathbb{R}^n\). The primary interest of the authors is to present a unified treatment of nonexistence theorems for some elliptic and parabolic problems. To this end they use a technique which is based on the derivation of suitable a priori bounds on the solution of the problem under consideration by carefully choosing special test functions and scaling argument.
