This work deals with the evaluation of fourth-order Eshelby tensor associated with a spheroidal inclusion aligned along the axis of anisotropy in a transversely isotropic and linearly piezoelectric material. The author has shown through quite tedious calculations that all components of the Eshelby tensor are obtainable in terms of six definite integrals of rational functions from 0 to 1. The coefficients of the involved polynomials of various degrees are given in terms of geometrical parameters and material coefficients. By assuming that integrands have singularities at most in the form of simple poles, the author computes all six integrals by means of only two relatively simple integrals whose values are found explicitly.
