Given a classical Artin braid group \(B_{m+1}\), the authors consider the \(B_{m+1}\)-module \(R_q\) given by an action over the ring \(\mathbb{Q}[q,q^{-1}]\) of rational polynomials. This gives non-trivial top-cohomology \(H^*(B_{m+1},R_q)\) with a very neat description [cf. \textit{C. De Concini, M. Salvetti, F. Stumbo}, Topology Appl. 78, No. 1-2, 5-20 (1997; Zbl 0878.55003)]. For general Artin groups, explicit computations are planed in a forthcoming paper as well.
