On uniform convergence of sequences of certain linear operators (Q5948318): Difference between revisions

The authors study \(\varphi\)-summations (i.e., summations generated by a given function \(\varphi\)) of Fourier series and discrete Fourier series. They prove a discrete version of the fundamental theorem of \(\varphi\)-summation of Fourier series. Next, they investigate the approximation property of the partial sums of discrete Fourier series. In the last section of the paper the authors present results concerning the order of convergence of Fourier series and discrete Fourier series. They show that choosing different parameters of the partial sum operators different order of the uniform convergence can be obtained on the space \(C_{2\pi}\).
