Let \(D\) be a division ring, \(n\) an integer greater than 1, \(\alpha_1,\ldots,\alpha_n\) automorphisms of \(D\), and let \(Q=[q_{ij}]\) be a multiplicatively antisymmetric \(n\times n\) matrix over \(D\) satisfying certain associativity constraints determined by the \(\alpha_i\). Fix \(r\), \(0\leq r\leq n\). In this paper a quantum polynomial ring means a ring \(R=D[X_1^{\pm 1},\ldots,X_r^{\pm 1},X_{r+1},\ldots,X_n]\), where the relations are \(X_iX_i^{-1}=X_i^{-1}X_i=1\), \(1\leq i\leq r\), \(X_id=\alpha_i(d)X_i\), \(d\in D\), \(1\leq i\leq n\), and \(X_iX_j=q_{ij}X_jX_i\), \(1\leq i,j\leq n\). From the abstract: ``We study the endomorphism semigroup of a general quantum polynomial ring, its finite group[s] of automorphisms, and [its] homological properties, as a module over the skew group ring of a finite group of automorphisms. Moreover, properties of the division ring of fractions are considered''.
