A homogenization procedure is applied to rapidly varying semilinear reaction-diffusion equations with spatially quasi-periodic coefficients in the nonlinearity. Estimations are derived between solutions of the homogenized and original equations. Local stable and unstable manifolds are also studied. The general theory is also applied to the Navier-Stokes equations. Diophantine conditions on the spatial frequencies play crucial roles in both examples.
