The authors discuss a global solution of the Cauchy problem to the equation \(u_{tt}+\delta u_{t}-\varphi (x)\triangle u=\lambda u|u|^{\beta -1}.\) Under certain conditions, they prove the global existence of solution. Moreover, they examine blow-up of solution in a finite time for sufficiently large initial data.
