All groups in this article are Abelian. A torsion-free Abelian group \(A\) is said to be endotransitive if, for any nonzero elements \(a,b\in A\) with equal characteristics, there exists an endomorphism \(f\) of \(A\) such that \(fa=b\). The homogeneous endotransitive groups are precisely the E-transitive groups studied by the reviewer [J. Algebra 107, 17-27 (1987; Zbl 0616.20027)] and \textit{M. Dugas} and \textit{S. Shelah} [Contemp. Math. 87, 191-199 (1989; Zbl 0672.20025)]. The author gives a description of the reduced endotransitive torsion-free groups \(A\) for which (i) the set of kernels of endomorphisms of \(A\) satisfies the ascending chain condition, and (ii) for every nonzero \(a\in A\), there exists a nonzero \(b\in A\) such that the types of \(a\) and \(b\) are comparable and the type of \(b\) is a maximal element in the type set of \(A\).
