The principal object of this paper is to determine all irreducible positive and negative graded modules of simple Lie algebras \(L(n)\) and \(L(n,\mathfrak m)\) of Cartan type \(W\), \(S\), and \(H\) over fields of characteristic \(\neq 2,3\). Much of the groundwork for this paper was laid in the earlier papers of this series [Sci. Sin., Ser. A 29, 570--581 (1986; Zbl 0601.17013); 29, 1009-1019 (1986; Zbl 0615.17009)], which is where much of the notation and terminology of the third paper are explained. Let \(L=\oplus_{i\in\mathbb Z}L_ i\), and let \(V_ 0\) be a nontrivial irreducible \(L_ 0\)-module. The \(L\)-module \(\tilde V_ 0\), a mixed product determined by \(V_ 0\), is found to be irreducible if \(V_ 0\) is not a highest-weight module for a fundamental weight. For \(\tilde V_ 0\) reducible, its composition factors are determined. The author concludes with a section in which he determines all irreducible positive and negative filtered modules of \(L(n,\mathfrak m)\).
