The author proves the following theorem: Assume that \(P_ n=O(np_ n)\) and \(P_ np_ n=O(p_ nP_{n+1})\). Let \((X_ n)\) be a positive non- decreasing sequence and there be sequences \((\beta_ n)\) and \((\lambda_ n)\) such that \[ (i)\quad | \Delta \lambda_ n| \leq \beta_ n\to 0,\quad (ii)\quad \sum n| \Delta \beta_ n| X_ n<\infty,\quad (iii)\quad | \lambda_ n| X_ n=O(1). \] If a series \(\sum a_ n\) satisfies the condition \(\sum^{n}_{i=1}| t_ i|^ k/i=O(X_ n),\) then the series \(\sum P_ na_ n\lambda_ n/(np_ n)\) is summable \(| \bar N,p_ n|_ k\), \(k\geq 1\). (For the notation see the preceding review.)
