[For part I see Probabilistic methods in mathematical physics, Proc. Taniguchi Int. Symp., Katata and Kyoto/Jap. 1985, 335-361 (1987; Zbl 0639.60104).] The paper includes various techniques and facts about spectral properties of the Laplacian with many obstacles (inclusions). The Dirichlet condition is given on the boundaries of the randomly distributed obstacles \((=spheres)\). The size of spheres tends to zero in the limiting procedure. The number of spheres tends to infinity in the limit with some scaling (with the size of spheres). The above problem (crushed ice problem) was discussed by several authors. The present author gave fundamental software (estimation of multiple products of Green's function) for the above problem via point interaction approximations of the Green's function of \(-\Delta +\lambda\) by using the Green's function of the original domain. The calculations need hard steps. The most extended version of the result is given.
