In [Duke Math. J. 116, 319--351 (2003; Zbl 1053.14050)] and [Ann. Math (2) 161, 1521--1569, (2005; Zbl 1153.58301)] the authors introduced and studied elliptic genera. The paper under review address some of the questions about these objects raised in the second of these papers. The main theorems are that the elliptic genera of \(SU\)-manifolds or, more generally Kawamata log-terminal \(G\)-normal pairs are Jacobi forms and that they are invariants of \(K\)-equivalence.
