The Central Sets Theorem for a discrete semigroup \(S\) originated from Furstenberg's famous work [\textit{H. Furstenberg}, Recurrence in ergodic theory and combinatorial number theory. M. B. Porter Lectures, Rice University, Department of Mathematics, 1978. Princeton, New Jersey: Princeton University Press. (1981; Zbl 0459.28023)]. In the paper under review the authors obtain a simple characterization of \(C\)-sets (i.e., those sets satisfy the conclusion of the Central Sets Theorem).
