The author considers a product of k independent random variables which are positive powers of real beta type-1 random variables. The density is worked out by transformation of variables and by Mellin transform techniques. One method leads to an H-function and the other to integral representations. Thus multiple integral representations are obtained for an H-function. This paper is a generalization of the article of this reviewer with \textit{W. J. Anderson} [Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 96, 325-330 (1984; reviewed above)].
