The structure of rotating polytropes has been investigated among other authors by \textit{S. Chandrasekhar} in his pioneer work [Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 93, 462-471 (1933; Zbl 0007.13402)]. But his perturbation method fails near the surface of a polytrope. In view of this \textit{M. D. T. Naylor} and \textit{S. P. S. Anand} calculated [in \textit{A. Slettebak} (ed.), Stellar rotations (1970) on pp. 157-164] these models by the Monagham and Roxburg method at the same interfacial points as chosen by \textit{J. J. Monagham} and \textit{I. W. Roxburgh} [Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 131, 13 ff. (1965)]. The authors recalculated the models for polytropic index \(n=1,5\), 2,0, and 3,0 at new interfacial points to ensure more accurate results.
