A sequential two-stage service system with limited waiting space between stages is considered. The system feature of particular interest is the provision of several servers at each stage. One is interested to know how multiple service in this application mitigates the effect of restricted waiting space and influences the conditions for statistical equilibrium. The analysis which proceeds by way of probability generating functions hinges on locating the roots of a certain polynomial and then concentrates on describing the system state. Some easily obtained numerical results are given to illustrate system performance.
