    Modifying a method employed in their earlier papers [Isr. J. Math. 56, 97-101 (1986; Zbl 0611.20010); Commun. Algebra 15, 2193-2197 (1987; Zbl 0625.20018)], the authors establish the following Theorem. If \({\mathcal F}\) denotes a saturated Fitting formation such that \({\mathcal F}{\mathcal F}={\mathcal F}\), then every finite group has \({\mathcal F}\)-injectors. \{Reviewer's remark: A common generalization of this result and the corresponding results in the two notes quoted above can be found in the reviewer's paper [Southeast Asian Bull. Math. 11, 1-11 (1987; Zbl 0631.20013)].\}
