The author proves smoothness results (almost exhaustive!) corresponding to single and double layer solutions of the Helmholtz equation in two and three dimensions. Essentially, he extends the results on the differentiability of single and double layer potentials of the Laplace operator to the corresponding results for the Helmholtz operator.
