An interior \(G\)-algebra is an abstract algebra \(A\) together with a homomorphism from a finite group \(G\) into the group of units of \(A\). Thus \(A\) can be considered both as a \(G\)-algebra and as a \(G\times G\)-module. Under suitable indecomposability assumptions \(A\) has both defect groups and vertices, and the paper under review studies their relationship. The results are mainly variations of those by \textit{T. Ikeda} [J. Algebra 105, 344-350 (1987; Zbl 0604.20007)]. Moreover, a version of the Green correspondence for interior \(G\)-algebras is proved.
