    The compatibility conditions yielding evolution equations integrable by the inverse scattering transform, given in Manakov triad representation \(\dot L=[A,L]+B \cdot L\) are studied. The algebraic structure revealed provides a generalization of the results obtained in the case of Lax pair representation.
