The book deals with transport equations. The approach is rather classical and very useful information on transport theory is given. Functional spaces, variational statements and the notions of generalized solution are introduced. In particular, boundary value problems with various kind of boundary conditions are discussed. The final chapter is devoted to construct and investigate numerical algorithms for transport equations. The bibliography is quite extensive. At the end of each chapter there is a very useful section of comments which makes the reader able to find the matter and use the references. It is worth of noticing the list of notations and spaces and the index of symbols that makes the book very useful and readable.
