On super \({\mathcal R}^*\)-unipotent semigroups (Q1281275): Difference between revisions

Super \({\mathcal R}^*\)-unipotent semigroups are used to characterize abundant semigroups with \({\mathcal R}^*={\mathcal H}^*\) (Theorem 2.4), strong semilattices of cancellative monoids (Corollary 4.3), semigroups \(S\) such that \(E(S)\) is a normal band in \(S\) (Theorem 4.4), direct products of a cancellative monoid and a left zero band (Theorem 4.5). The authors structured the paper in the way that they get these results as characterizations of super \({\mathcal R}^*\)-unipotent semigroups. More results on these semigroups are presented. Here \({\mathcal R}^*\) and \({\mathcal H}^*\) denote the Green\(^*\)-relations.
