The mathematical description of excitable media, whose elements called ``neurons'' have two states, is given. Then two basic mechanisms of propagation of excitations in such media are described. In the first case, the excitation propagates locally with a speed depending generally both on coordinates of a point (a neuron) and on the direction of the propagation of excitations. In the second case, the subset of excited neurons is determined by a potential, which can be given outside of the medium or generated by the medium, and by a threshold value. As the intensity of the excitation of the ``neurons'' is not considered, the obtained results are more of a general physical nature than relevant to the concrete case of neuronal systems. So the author of the paper then can speculate how to accomodate such results to a formal economic interpretation. The presented results are of a formal nature with no direct applications both to neural as well as economic real situations.
