The authors consider a system consisting of a stable continuous linear part of the form \[ dx/dt = Ax + bf, \quad \sigma = c^*x + \psi \] and a modulator that performs frequency modulation of the first or second kind or integral frequency modulation. Here \(A\) is an \(m \times m\) constant Hurwitz matrix; \(b\) and \(c\) are constant \(m\)-dimensional columns; \(\psi\) is a nonzero external disturbance; and \(\sigma\) and \(f\) are signals at the input and output of a modulator. Sufficient frequency conditions for the existence of the simplest periodic modes are given.
