This paper describes the main features of a package \texttt{rm.tools} designed for the analysis of repeated measured data. The package is based on three main procedures, called \texttt{rm.plot(), rm.mean()} and \texttt{rm.fit()} along with some subsidiary modules. Two first procedures provide data plotting and preliminary analysis including the nonparametric smoothing. Procedure \texttt{rm.fit()} performs the fit of parametric models via likelihood methods for each one of three possible families of distributions (normal, binary, Poisson). All procedures allow the presence of missing or unbalanced data, time dependent covariates as well as the presence of serial correlation. Software tools are written in S-Plus language except some FORTRAN routines which are interfaced through S-Plus. From the introduction: ''The software is freely available from the archive server StatLib and from the \texttt{ftp} server of the Department of Statistics Science, University of Padua.''.
