The paper deals with the existence of solutions for second order nonlinear evolution inclusions and completes the results of an earlier paper by the author [Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 35, 139-158 (1992; Zbl 0758.34050)]. In this paper the author considers two cases, one in which the orientor field is convex valued and the other in which it is nonconvex valued. As an application of the abstract results an example of a hyperbolic partial differential inclusion is given.
