In the space \(C_b(X,\mathbb{R})\) of all continuous and bounded real valued functions on the locally compact Hausdorff space \(X\), the authors give a characterization of the \(\beta\)-closure of convex semi-lattices, where \(\beta\) is the strict topology on \(C_b(X,\mathbb{R})\). This characterization uses the monotone \(\beta\)-continuous affine functionals on \(C_b(X,\mathbb{R})\). A similar characterization for the \(\beta\)-closure of convex cone lattices is given, using the positive \(\beta\)-continuous linear forms on \(C_b(X,\mathbb{R})\), generalizing the results of Choquet-Deny. As an application, a Weierstrass-Stone type result is obtained for the strict topology, generalizing the results of McAfee and Reny.
