Let \(X\) be a complete, metrically convex metric space, \(K\) a closed convex subset of \(X\), and \(CB(X)\) the class of closed bounded subsets of \(X\). The author gives conditions on a map \(F:K\to CB(X)\) satisfying \(F(\partial K)\subseteq K\) under which \(F\) has a fixed point. An analogous result for single-valued maps was established by \textit{L. B. Ćirić} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 16, No. 2, 397-400 (1993; Zbl 0820.47060)].
