The author applies his own topological methods in [Russ. Math. Surv. 48, No. 1, 101-154 (1993); translation from Usp. Mat. Nauk 48, No. 1(289), 103-154 (1993; Zbl 0808.34002)] which are based on the so-called ``convergence of spaces of solutions'', to second order differential inclusions \(x''\in F(t,x,x')\) on the real line. Using notations and results from earlier papers, the author states without proof several results concerning compactness and convergence properties of the set of solutions of the differential inclusion and concludes with Theorems 3 and 4 stating the existence of periodic solutions for the differential inclusion and for a second order differential equation of the form \(x''=g(t,x,x')\), respectively. The author claims that the result in Theorem 4 is proved under weaker assumptions than the corresponding results of [\textit{J.-P. Gossez} and \textit{P. Omari}, J. Differ. Equations 94, No. 1, 67-82 (1991; Zbl 0743.34045)].
