    Let \({\mathcal M}_\alpha (A,B)\) \((\alpha\) real, \(-1\leq B <A\leq 1)\) be the class of analytic and univalent functions in \(U= \{z: |z|< 1\}\), normalized by \(f(0) =f'(0)- 1=0\) and satisfy: \[ (1-\alpha)^{zf'(z) \over f(z)} +\alpha \left(1+ {zf''(z) \over f'(z)} \right) \prec {1+Az \over 1+ Bz} (z\in U). \] The method of differential subordination is used to provide an integral representation of \(f\) within \({\mathcal M}_\alpha (A,B)\). The conditions under which \({\mathcal M}_\alpha (A,B)\) is a subclass of the class of starlike functions and related topics are investigated.
