In this paper, the Gakhov equation for an exterior mixed inverse boundary value problem with respect to the parameter \(x\) is investigated. The authors proved the solvability of the above Gakhov equation in case that the known boundary is a polygon. Using the results of the theory for polyanalytic functions, the authors studied the local structure of the set of solutions for the Gakhov equation.
