Hypercubic designs are better known as tms-nets and as a special case of ordered orthogonal arrays. There are close relationships with error-correcting codes. A binary linear hypercubic design of strength \(k,\) dimension \(m\) and length \(s\) is a certain family of \(ks\) tuples satisfying certain linear independence conditions: certain families of \(k\) such tuples must be linearly independent. The main application is the construction of sets of \(2^m\) points in the unit cube of Euclidean \(s\)-space with extremal uniformity properties (dependent on the strength), for use in numerical integration. In the present paper the authors construct two families of binary linear hypercubic designs of strength \(4\) and \(5,\) respectively. The construction is based on primitive BCH-codes. The strength \(4\) family relies on the satisfiability of certain trace conditions.
