Verf. wendet die Rotationsmethode an, um eine strenge Lösung des von \textit{Fermat} gestellten Problems zu erhalten, welches darin besteht, einen Punkt der Fläche eines Dreiecks so zu bestimmen, daß die Summe der Abstände von den Spitzen ein Minimum sei.
