Pincherle hat kürzlich (F. d. M. 46, 438 (JFM 46.0438.*), 1916-18) bei dem speziellen Beispiel \[ f(x)=x^2-a \] statt der üblichen Frage nach den Konvergenzverhältnissen bei der Iteration die ``Iteration im Großen'' behandelt, d. h. die Frage nach der Verteilung der vermöge Iteration ``kongruenten'' Punkte. Verf. leistet dasselbe bei \[ f(x)=\alpha x\pm \sqrt { 1-x^2}\cdot \sqrt { 1-a^2}. \]
