Der. Verf. stellt sich die Aufgabe, die Verteilung der Wurzeln der transzendenten Gleichung \[ w(z)=F(z) \cos \pi z+F_1(z) \sin \pi z=0 \] zu studieren, eine Frage, die bei den im Titel genannten Entwicklungen Anwendung findet. Er führt die Diskussion in dem speziellen Fall durch, wenn \(F(z)\) und \(F_1(z)\) Polynome sind. Die Methode beruht auf der Berechnung des komplexen Integrals \[ \frac{1}{2\pi i} \int \frac{w'(z)}{w(z)} dz, \] erstreckt über eine passend gewählte Integrationskurve. Zahlreiche Spezialfälle.
