Der Verf. beweist unter anderm den folgenden Satz: Sind \(a\) und \(b\) zwei beliebig gegebene Zahlen, die beide relativ prim zu einer gegebenen Zahl \(p>1\) sind, so können die Gleichungen \[ aq=\alpha p+h,\quad bq=\beta p+k \] in solchen positiven und negativen ganzen Zahlen \(\alpha, \beta, h, k\) und \(q\) befriedigt werden, daß\ \(0<h^2<p\), \(0<k^2<p\) sind.
